    Radio Disney contest to award spot on ‘Phineas and Ferb,’ $10,000 vacation

Parents, here’s a contest that might make you wish you were a teen again.

Radio Disney’s Get Animated with ‘Phineas and Ferb’ and Build Your Own Vacation! Sweepstakes will award one grand prize winner $10,000 to build a dream vacation and a spot as an animated character in an episode of the popular Disney show. Plus, the winner gets 20 Zhu Zhu pets and play sets from the contest sponsor.

Beginning Aug. 1, listeners can call Radio Disney at 1-877-870-5678 for a chance to win 100 entries into the sweepstakes, or enter the code word of the day online at RadioDisney.com/Win or via text to DISNEY (347639) for a single entry. (As always, data charges may apply and a parent’s permission is needed to enter because entrants must be 16 or younger.)

The winner will be announced Sept. 27 on Radio Disney.

This week, Phineas and Ferb cast members Vincent Martella (Phineas Flynn) and creators and executive producers Dan Povenmire (Dr. Doofenshmirtz), and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh (Major Monogram) will be in the Radio Disney studio to introduce new music from the one-hour Phineas and Ferb episode, “Summer Belongs to You.” The show debuts at 8 p.m. ET Aug. 2 on Disney XD and Aug. 6 on Disney Channel. Following each Planet Premiere, listeners can log on to RadioDisney.com to stream the new music and vote for their favorite song. The album will be released online Aug. 3.

At 10 a.m. ET July 31 and 2 p.m. ET Aug. 1, the Phineas and Ferb stars will co-host the Top 30 Countdown with Jake.  They will be featured in a Take Over with Ernie D at 6 p.m. ET Aug. 2.
